Masculinity
Just found this and thought it was interesting considering what we talked about today in class.
This article was interesting to read. Its shocking because a lot of the things we interact with on a daily bases is plastic. Trying to prevent any interaction with plastic is definitely the last thing on my mind. So pregnant mothers who choose to do this have more to worry about. Having a son born with physical and behavioral can be a result of many things. I do not see anything wrong with having a son may have neutral behaviors. Our society is so caught up in what it means to be masculine and tough for a boy and what it is to be feminine and gentile for a girl- its ridiculous. A healthy baby is the most important!
